Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026-08-23 · M4 Infotech
The short version. Coil & Climb does not collect personal data. There are no accounts and no analytics services in the app, and the things the game saves — your stars, coins and sound setting — are written to your own device and never sent anywhere. The game is paid for by advertising served by Google AdMob. Those adverts are never personalised, and players under 13 see only the optional rewarded video they choose to watch.

What we collect
We do not collect personal data. The app has no account system, no sign-in, no contact form, and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, location or advertising identifier.
| Data | Collected? | Where it lives |
|---|---|---|
| Name, email, phone, address | No | — |
| Account or profile | No | — |
| Location | No | — |
| Contacts, photos, microphone, camera | No | — |
| Advertising identifier (IDFA / AAID) | Not used by us. Google AdMob may access it on devices where the player is 13 or older and has allowed tracking; never for under-13s | |
| Usage or crash analytics | No | — |
| Daily goals, stars, XP | Stored on device only | Your device |
| Sound on/off, chosen player line-up | Stored on device only | Your device |
The on-device values are ordinary app settings. They are not transmitted, not backed up to us, and not readable by us.
The one thing that does leave the device is an advert request to Google. It carries what Google needs to return a non-personalised advert — roughly: the country the request came from, the device type and screen size, and the app it came from. It does not carry your name, your progress, or anything you have done in the game, because the game never gives it any of that.
Permissions the app requests
The app requests no runtime permissions. It does not ask for location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera or notifications.
On Android the package declares the standard INTERNET permission because the game
is displayed through a system web view that serves its own files over a local address. No remote
server is contacted — fonts, artwork and code are all packaged inside the app.
Advertising and analytics
The game carries advertising from Google AdMob. There is still no analytics service and no crash-reporting service — AdMob is the only third-party SDK in the app.
Adverts are never personalised. Every request the game makes is flagged non-personalised, for every player, at every age. We do not build profiles, and we pass Google nothing about you or your play.
What you see depends on the age you give on first launch:
| Format | Under 13, or unanswered | 13 and over |
|---|---|---|
| Rewarded video (you tap “watch for coins”) | Yes — always your choice | Yes |
| Banner on menu screens | No | Yes |
| Full-screen advert between matches | No | Yes, rate limited |
| Advert when you return to the app | No | Yes, rate limited |
| Personalised advertising | No | No |
Under-13 sessions are additionally tagged to Google as child-directed and under the age of consent, which restricts the advert pool and forbids the use of an advertising identifier for personalisation. Nothing in the game — no board, star or coin needed to progress — is ever locked behind an advert.
In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland the Google User Messaging Platform asks for your consent before the first advert loads, and you can change that answer at any time. On iOS, players aged 13 and over may see Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt; declining it changes nothing about the game, and the prompt is never shown to under-13s.
Google’s handling of advert requests is covered by Google’s partner policy.
Children
The game is designed to be safe for children: no chat, no user-generated content, no links out of the app and no purchases. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we collect none from children either.
Children do see advertising, and it is deliberately the least intrusive kind available: only the rewarded video they choose to watch in exchange for coins, never personalised, never interrupting play, and never required to finish a board.
See Children’s Privacy for how this maps to COPPA and the GDPR rules on children’s data.
How to delete your data
Because everything is stored on your device, deleting the app deletes all of it. There is nothing held on our side to request the deletion of. Full detail is on the Data & Deletion page.
Your rights
Privacy laws including the GDPR (Europe/UK), the CCPA/CPRA (California) and India’s DPDP Act give you rights to access, correct, delete and port your personal data, and to object to its processing. Those rights attach to data a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, export or erase.
We do not sell or share personal information, because we do not have any.
If you would like written confirmation of that for your own records, email support@m4infotech.com and we will reply.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be published here with a new “last updated” date. Material changes — anything that would alter what leaves your device — will also be noted in the app store release notes for the version that introduces them.
This version is dated 2026-08-23.
